- Wouldnt use them if they paid me - Vision, 21 May 2014
I owned this headset for a couple of days before returning them. The sound was very muddy, the headache inducing kind. I tweaked it for hours using the software and base station provided. I either had too little bass or the sound got really muddy. The soundstage was extremely uneven. In the game Battlefield 4 an enemy vehicle that I thought was firing its machine gun just around the corner turned out to be quite far away, so distance judging was much better on my cheap logitech g330 stereo headphones. Hearing finer sounds was also much better on the logitech. Worst of all was the comfort. Perhaps because I have a large head and large ears these headphones had a death grip on my skull (on the largerst setting) which resulted in a serious physical pain after just an hour of half of trying to use it. They are impossible to loosen because they are the hard plastic kind.
I returned the unit, and paid 700 more for a Sennheiser PC360. The Sennheiser is a joy to use compared to this thing and provides way superior directional sound and clear soundstage, without murdering your head. I can much recommend them.
