- Very Good Card - Thomas, 1 August 2016
I've owned this card for a few weeks now and can say this card is great however If you plan on buying this card note that you have to overclock this card out of the box if you want it to reach the identical performance levels of the strix, evga ftw or msi z cards (This is not a problem because all the chips are generally the same with some exceptions and my card got to 2063mhz on the core easily without increasing the voltage). The cooler on the card is very good and quiet even at high fan speeds and high overclocks (70 degrees at 64 percent fan speed stock and 76 degrees at 75-80 percent fan speed at overclock). The red light on the fans can be a bit annoying for non red builds as it is fixed to that colour and cannot be changed (The GeForce GTX logo on the side is RGB no the fans). If you plan on getting this card ensure you have very good case airflow as all the heat is left in the case regardless of the overclocking. Lastly there is basically no coil whine at all unless in a menu with high frame rates like 3000fps. This card is very well made by Galax and I would buy it again if I could.
