I have always used Intel, never bothered to ever mess with AMD. Well I now am a AMD fan. Firstly to install this sucker took no time at all unlike those lovely intel clips you have to mess with... I decided to go with a Deepcool Gammax 300 cpu cooler with this cpu and I had the heatsink on in a minute or two. As far as speed is concerned this cpu is very impressive for its price. I firstly benchmarked the cpu in my own software which I have developed. You can find it at www.webtile.co.za (Webtile PC ++) It scored above the intel i7 4770k. My application uses maths calculations to work out cpu performance. I then ran this cpu in Cinebench R15 and managed to score 664 in the Multi cpu performance test. I ran the cpu at stock 4ghz and won't be over clocking it yet. Temps never got above 61 degrees C. At idle it was sitting at around 36/38 C in a room which was at 24/25 degrees C
