This UPS was recommended to me after I had returned a noisy UPS unit from another brand. I was not disappointed, this APC unit is a really well designed product, the documentation in the box is very clear and tells you exactly what you need to know. Downloading and installing the software (should you choose to) is quick and painless and gives you an excellent breakdown of your power usage and remaining battery when the AC power goes down. Most importantly - this APC unit is dead quiet compared to my previous unit, it has zero fan noise. You wont regret spending a little extra on this brand.
