- Best board for your buck - Daniel, 23 January 2015
Awesome mobo. Only ever expect quality from Asus 'cause that's what you get.
Solid overclocker, especially for any FX 8xxx CPUs. You'll need quite a large chassis to fit this beast in 'cause of the 2nd PCI-E slot, but it'll be worth it.
I bought this to increase my boot time and it did exactly that and more. UEFI is epic. Along with the USB3.0 header for front ports, loads of fan headers and USB ports are just some of the reasons why once you go ASUS you never go back
Only downside to AMD is the heat, but the massive overclocks achieved are worth it. Just make sure you hook this baby up with a decent cooler and you're set to go ;) - Budget Gaming PC - Chris, 6 November 2014
Very decent board. Used this as the foundation for a budget PC build for a friend (with the intention to also link the Powercolor R280X) with the order to save on overall and shipping costs. Ended up buying this board, PowerColor AXR9 280X, Crucial CT256MX100SSD1 MX100 256GB 2.5, AMD FX-8320 Vishera Black Edition 8-Core 3.5GHz (could have saved more money on the FX 6300) and G.Skill F3-2400C10D-8GTX Trident X 8GB (was on special), the board only support up to 2133mhz but the price makes this really worth it.
Must say I've been running the system now for a week and are quite impressed. I personally think this whole Intel I3,5,7 series is over rated and overpriced for what I get from this AMD setup (my own gaming PC is a high end I7 setup, this AMD setup actually keep up with mine).
A definite must for a budget gaming build
