- Best Mouse I ever bought - Ivaan, 27 July 2023
I would say that I have never spent this much on a mouse, most of my PC is complete with ROG hardware and I was not sure what ROG mouse but I have watched some reviews and I was intrigued, I do alot of competitive gaming and this mouse by far is the best I have ever used. There are so much features of this mouse I fell instantly inlove with, one of the best being, it takes around 20 mins to fully charge, and then wirelessly you can use it for hours, depending on your usage. Someone comment on the top cover being wiggly, however I never had that issue at all and since I got it around 2+ weeks ago, the only thing I am still unsure about is how to incorporate the joystick on the side in the games I play.
But all in all, Awesome mouse and I will but it everytime, one thing though, this mouse is heavier than most mice so if that is not a problem, you will love it. - Expensive but nice - Craig, 2 April 2022
This is the most I've ever spent on a mouse and hopefully will be the most I ever do spend. The mouse itself is a power house of tech, offering 3 ways to connect to your device. For my larger hands, the grip is comfortable and the texture of the materials are good. The side buttons are easy enough to reach with my thumb, though the joystick is a bit too far forward for comfort. I'm also not quite sure if that is something I'll ever use, so I might remove it.
The optical sensor works brilliantly, I have it currently set at 2000 dpi to match my old Microsoft Sidewinder mouse and so far it feels as smooth as that mouse ever was. The scroll wheel is lovely, slight tactical feel with every roll of the wheel and the middle click is also nice and confident without being rock hard.
The RGB sync with Aura works perfectly and is also part of the reason why I got this mouse. That being said, the top cover of the mouse is attached magnetically to the body and although held pretty sturdily in place, there is some definite flex - the cover won't come off accidentally I think, but it definitely wiggles a bit, especially if your palm is warm and sticks a little to the plastic. Asus could do better here to be honest.
I can't comment on the battery life or charging speed of this mouse, as I am using the mouse permanently wired to my PC via the included USB A to C cable.
All in all, a very good mouse so far, though I would deduct half a star if I could for the top cover being wiggly.
