- Well made cooler - Craig, 2 May 2022
After my debacle with the Cooler Master unit I had originally purchased, I turned to this unit instead to go with the rest of my ROG powered PC. Cooler was well protected in its package. Installation was straight forward and the ring system Asus uses for the pump head is fantastic. Before installation I plugged in the pump head just to make sure the unit was working first and it was a relief to feel the pump kick into life with a solid whirr after it was powered on.
As I couldn't get the RGB version of this cooler at the time, I used other RGB fans to go with the radiator instead of the included black fans, the 3rd party fans fitted with no issues, screw holes lined up perfectly with the radiator. Cooling performance to date has been great, does a great job of pulling heat away from the CPU.
Although the pump head syncs with Asus Aura, there's basically no configuration you can do besides the lighting. Pump speed is controlled through your motherboard and fan software instead.
Overall, I am happy with the unit so far and wouldn't hesitate to purchase it again.
