- Master-fully FAN-tastic! - DJDeon0, 10 April 2024
Yes - this is finally a CPU cooler that competes properly with Noctua's NH-D15.
Mine's block's plastic cover was damaged probably in shipping but luckily I ordered some extra thermal paste along with it - NOTE: it comes pre-applied with thermal paste - and there's no extra tube incase of the cover breaking off!!
I've replaced the standard Mobius 120 with a Mobius 120 OC and thus it keeps my i9-13900K perfectly stable under normal workstation loads (34'C -70'C in hot Durban climate under normal 'real-world' loads up to around 190W) - it does still thermal throttle the P-Cores like all 13900K's do but I'm really happy with this air cooler. It' HUGE and very heavy but it fits perfectly on my ASUS ROG STRIX WIFI-D4 board within my vintage Thermaltake A60 Armor case (any sleeper builders out here?!)
Super easy to install too.
Take caution when transporting your case - you don't want bent CPU pins!
Thanks again Wootware for you excellent service!
