- Does its Job, looks decent - Natheer, 26 June 2021
This CPU cooler allows my 3300x to run at its boost clock most of the time and my temps barely exceed 63c while gaming. The stock cooler was about 10c warmer and it would throttle down to its base clock quite often. Definitely a good budget option and the top of the cooler is black as well which is nice. Id recommend swapping out the rainbow puke fan out for a plain black one for a cleaner look. Id give this cooler 5 stars if the fins were black as well. Luckily most of it is covered.
- Good but not Great - Henry, 9 November 2020
I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 5800X and the temps idle between 40-50 degrees Celsius. This is more or less ambient from what I can gather. If you would like some cooler cpu temps I would suggest either AiO cooling or rather spend a bit more on an Air Cooler. Also something to note, RGB is not ARGB so the rainbow is all you have.
- Same as the black edition - just no controllable RGB - Dylan, 29 September 2020
Great heatsink, is exactly the same as the RGB Black Edition except you don't have an addressable RGB fan (this one just has a constant rainbow effect). You can easily swap it out for another 120mm fan of your choice though.
Doesn't include a bracket to attach a second fan for push pull.
Max temps while running Prime95 at 4.4 all core 1.4v are just under 80 degrees on a ryzen 5 3600. Idle temps are 10 to 20 degrees lower than the stock cooler at around 42.
