- Hardware Issues - DO NOT PURCHASE - Steven, 7 January 2022
This mouse has been plagued with hardware issues for years and Corsair has basically ignored it and provided no fix. It essentially boils down to country of manufacture and issues with the switches being used for the mouse buttons. These mice are manufactured in China and Taiwan, it seems if you get a mouse from China there is a very high chance you will get switch failure within a few months.
I wish I had done some more research before purchasing this mouse as I would never have bought it knowing what I know now.
More Info (Official Corsair Forum Thread): https://forum.corsair.com/forums/topic/151349-m65-rgb-elite-left-click-issues/ - Common issue with left click - Jean-Pierre, 29 December 2021
I've had to replace two of these in under three years due to a recurring issue with the left mouse button, both started giving issues about a year after purchase. The LMB will either double-click or not click at all at random times and going by posts on Corsair's forum, it's a fairly common problem that's been around for a few years and no one seems to know what causes it.
So it's barely worth two stars for this reason, but giving it is a grudge because otherwise it's a really nice mouse to use. - Happy - Sibusiso, 25 March 2021
I am very happy with my purchase the mouse is working perfectly and it rests perfectly in my hand.
- Massive improvement over previous models - Jean, 12 June 2020
M65 vs M65 Pro vs M65 Elite
In all honesty, it does not feel like a fair comparison as they may look similar in appearance but the M65 Elite yields significant improvements. The thumb buttons are now of usable size, skates glide effortlessly over surfaces and the whole scroll wheel unit has been replaced and works as intended (M65 and M65 Pro the wheel itself was jittery and would physically break within a 1 year period when in frequent use, common design flaw). The 18000dpi sensor is precise and accurate. At the price point I cannot think of another product that compares favourably. - Awesome Mouse - Francois, 25 October 2019
Love this mouse, solid build quality and tracking accuracy is excellent!
