- Overpriced and not premium - Zander, 27 December 2018
So I decided to try out this mouse because I'm trying to go wireless and I already have almost a full suite of corsair gear. I have the k95 keyboard and the quality is outstanding, I thought I could expect the same for this mouse.
If the price was dropped by like 500, I would say it's worth, but not at this price point.
Pro's
- Nice form factor for larger hands
- RGB is above average
- Battery life is good (I get about 8hours +- with RGB on)
- DPI is good, side buttons & mouse sense buttons sit at comfortable positions.
Cons
- Clicks feel less than satisfactory
- Accidental right clicks are quite prone to happen
- Build quality feels cheap for price point
- Button actuation is horribly high, they're really deep, so if you're spamming, 1 - 2 clicks would just not have enough lift to get another press in.
Weird bugs
- When you have the mouse on charge in the cable and you plug it out (while it's switched on) it resets all your USB connections? Windows starts dinging like mad telling me all my devices are reconnected
- Another issue when you plug the mouse out while it's charging, is it will just not be picked up, requiring you to plug the wireless connector in and out again.
Overall: It's an OKAY mouse. At this price point you can definitely do better. I would only recommend if you want to go full Corsair.
