- Good cooler but I got a bad pump - Mat, 7 June 2018
The cooler does the job well for my 7700k although it is loud in the CT summer temps. Skylake is known to get hot and this cooler controls that nicely. I do however think that a 280mm AIO cooler would give you a drastic reduction in noise + You might save some $$ instead of having to upgrade the stock fans when the noise finally gets to you. My cooler only lasted 11 months - the pump seems to have suffered the infamous mechanical pump failure which corsair and reviews of this model claimed to have sorted out. I contacted Wootware support and the service is good so far. They pay for the courier if its faulty, and I was told I'd be given store credit or a new replacement, and I am happy with that. Hopefully it does not take long.
- Great cooler - Neil, 27 May 2018
Well built cooler. The tubes are hard so I had to cable tie them together to fit inside my Phanteks P400s. The cooling is excellent but the stock fans are super noisy. Upgraded to the Corsair SP120 Quiet Edition fans after one week. Now it runs like it's suppose to and temps are excellent.
- Better than expected - Jaco, 17 January 2018
let me start by saying the corsair link software is just horrible for fan profiling its basically no fans or Boeing taking off.. hooked the fans up to my motherboard for a much better experience. Overall the cooler is keeping my overclocked Ryzen at bay with idle at 2-3 above ambient and under load no more than 15-20 above ambient. The tubes are very long and very stiff. I have it front mounted in a 460X crystal and the tubes press up against the glass.
- Good cooler - Johann, 9 May 2017
Fans are a bit noisy but the cooling is good. Keeps my 7700k at 50 to 55 degrees under load, but i will be replacing the fans. Also the tubs are very hard, had to pull them up with a cable tie to get my Corsair 400c side panel to close.
