- Irritating LED - Troye, 4 August 2017
I can't fault the performance of the card, but those LEDs are very annoying. Not so much the ones on the back of the card (which you can control), but the ones inside the fans, which you cannot control or turn off with the software at all. The problem is that the fans spin up and down all the time and the light from the LEDs causes a very distracting shimmer every time. If you have an enclosed case, this should not be an issue, but if you have mesh or glass on the side (like me) it catches your eye every time.
- Amazing - Alex, 1 July 2017
Have been using this card for about a month now and have no complaints!
Quite and powerful! Absolutely smashes every game i can through at it!
Runs quite cool and has plenty of OC room!
Great card - Good value for money - Jarrod, 18 May 2017
My brother bought this card recently, I built the system and had time to get to know it. so here it is:
Pros:
- Good overclock potential, currently running speeds up to 2100mhz consistently (your mileage may vary)
- Good cooling, stays away from 80c, low 60s and high 70s under load, really depends what you're doing, regardless, the cooling is more than enough.
- Its quiet, the fans don't spin until it reaches 45c, once they start spinning is still quiet.
- Surprisingly good built quality, the backplate is specifically engineered to be actual support to the structure.
Cons:
- The software needed to run the RGB led on the card is iffy, It needs to be run on start up if you want to keep your colour settings all of the time which is annoying, and sometimes it just doesn't stick with the settings you apply even if you tell it to.
- Don't use the software it comes with to overclock, just use MSi Afterburner or something else, any other programme its simply more responsive and reliable.
- The LED on the card can be irratic if the software is not operating properly (which is usually isn't) Some boots its on and others its not. Mostly a software issue though. - Amazing - Marindi , 4 May 2017
Great performance, No complaints.
