- Not relevant in 2020 - Henri, 18 March 2020
In 2020 I can't recommend the Sabre 17-W8. It is a bulky, heavy laptop. The battery life is poor (2 hours), and performance when not connected to mains is limited. It runs very hot, with the i7-8750H regularly hitting 90 degrees under load, and the RAM is installed in single-channel, further hampering potential performance. The screen's refresh rate is one of the strong points at 120 Hz, however the TN panel has trademark poor viewing angles. Gaming performance is acceptable, although in 2020 other options are far more attractive.
