- Anti-bend frame - Donovan, 7 December 2024
I've got this paired with the ID cooling 360 AIO on the i9 13900k and in stress tests I get a maximum of 96°. Best buy I made...
- Improved my thermals - Brendan, 17 February 2024
Sitting with a Corsair H115i, the 12700K was idling at 31-33 on average, CB23 pushed all cores over 88 degrees Celsius (I think it touched 90 when the room was 30 dc), so swapping out the stock bracket for this, I saw my idling temps at 25-26 and my CB23 all core test at 81 max. I'm pretty happy with that, for R99, this fixed what intel and board vendors broke. Considering the 81 max, you'll never see that in a game or day-to-day office workload. It was a quick and easy swap, just keep the CPU in and make sure your cooler bracket is still covering the back of the CPU block, then it won't slide out.
