- Good keyboard, but bulky - Marco, 2 December 2022
The keys genuinely feel great to type on. I'm a fan of Cherry Mx Red switches, but I wanted something slightly harder to press that I could use for typing, since I tend to press the wrong keys by accident on my current keyboard due to the low actuation force - been getting better at it tho :)
Yellow switches would probably fit the bill, but those are hard to find.
These gateron reds feel almost exactly like reds, with just a slight bit more force needed to press them - perfect for typing. Or it would have been, if it weren't for the fact that the height of the keyboard was extremely uncomfortable for me to work with, even with a wrist rest. I genuinely wish I could work with it, since it ticks just about all the boxes (if you don't mind the old look of the keyboard), but the height was just a deal breaker for me. A low-profile version of this would be amazing.
Disclaimer: I am used to low profile keyboards, so this is quite an adjustment to me and might not be an issue for everyone. My colleague has a similar keyboard and is 100% fine with it, even without a wrist rest. - Good - AJ, 21 November 2022
It feels really great to type on and sounds good. It looks much better in person than it does in the picture. Build quality is good. Would definitely recommend this to anyone on a budget.
- Brilliant keyboard - Andy, 21 July 2022
Red switch is the best for long hours of typing and gaming. This keyboard supports both windows and mac keys (swappable keycaps). However bluetooth has noticeable delay when gaming. Currently using wired for gaming and bluetooth for working.
