- USB 3.2 means nothing - Wiehan, 2 November 2022
The advertising would have one think this thing should be able to read and write at a much higher speed than usb 3.0 flashdrives using the same filing systems. Write speeds are never above 12Mb/s, and this trying all the available USB 3.2 gen2 ports and Thunderbolt 3 ports on my Gigabyte Vision D-P motherboard. Write Speed fluctuates around and below 50Mb/s and spikes to max 80Mb/s, which is a bit closer to but not entirely what one would expect. Will stick to USB3.0 flash in future.
