- Best Headset I have used - Bruce, 11 February 2017
Thanks this is one amazing headset coming from a user who loved Skull Candy Crushers i am now selling my crushers as this hits bass and trebble perfectly and the volume is insane i cant push it past 90% or its just unbearable load and for Gaming its amazing not up to par with True 5.1 but its 99% there
- Thy may buy - Jean, 25 October 2016
The best and only headset I have ever owned.
Things to do after buying the headset:
1) Ask Hyper X for the new firmware update for the headset.
2) Buy the Brainwavz Replacement Memory Foam Earpads - stock ones does their job too.
3) Get a DAC - the USB sound card it comes with is fine though.
4) Get some Mountain Dew and Doritos and let the 360 no scope, across map, silent shot, one shot headshotting begin.
5) YouTube and movies are also fun to watch - yes, get them. - Christiaan, 28 September 2016
Been hearing a lot of rave and review about them, a co worker owned a pair, and yes they live up to the hype.
I got my set recently and the quality difference to what I had is so dramatic!
Pros:
- Light
- Comfy
- Awesome braided cable
- Swappable pads (velvet or pleather, I think you can buy replacements as well)
- USB has some audio boost capability (also on demand 7.1 which is not much to write home about I found)
Cons:
- Bag feels too small, so fit the headband in first.
- The rubber microphone plug is not attached in any way, so KEEP TRACK OF IT. I will try attach it with a small string to the audio cable so it won't get misplaced.
- The foam under the headband feels like it will collapse after 2 years, just keep note of that.
Final:
I'm glad I treated myself to these, only regret is the price difference to getting the grey vs red stock. - Best Headset I ever tried - Melwill, 3 June 2016
One of the best jobs done by a company when it comes to packaging and build quality. Excellent performance with Movies and Music, but simply outstanding in games with the 7.1 surround. Cloud 2 is also the most comfortable Headphones I have ever used, leatherette is excellent for bass but tends to make your ears sweat after a while, and the memory foam gives good bass but allows for better ventilation for your ears so you can game longer without having your ears sweating mid game
