This version of office functions exactly as it should, which is perfectly but...
The installation was easy, but resulted in a nightmare. I had Office 2007 Pro installed (32bit) on a Windows 10 Intel I7 PC. Only after I installed Office 2021 did I get any hint that all was not going as I wished. Problems were these: The office 2021 installed the 32bit version BECAUSE I had a previous office product that was 32 bit (Even my Stand-alone MS Visio 2010 was an issue). So they expected me to uninstall all 32bit Microsoft products losing my hard won settings and redo all. Outlook imported settings for some accounts but not all. Somehow the Office 2021 installation also corrupted the unistall option for the old MS Office 2007 so that did not work, necessitating manual uninstall (which is possible but finicky), which I will do maybe never. I was forced to redo most of my settings anyway.
In future I will reformat and reinstall all my software so I can have 64 bit software actually running in 64bit mode. But. Not. Soon. Thanks for that Microsoft.
Oh yes, they do warn you of this - but only once you try to find out what went wong. NOT during installation, you cannot even control which of 32bit or 64bit is installed, and definitely no warnings, Microsoft makes up your mind for you. I am peeved. And I still have a 32bit MSOffice 2021 installed. grrr
