This is a very nice and cheap way to expand your USB accessibility if you have a spare PCIE slot available without the mess of an external hub.
The only caveat is that is not a bandwidth device, because the interface is PCIE 2.0 which is roughly equal to a single 3.0 (5Gbps) port maxed out.
I'm using to free up my mobo ports by using it for low priority/bandwidth devices and it's perfect for that, just don't expect it to support heaving streaming or file transfers.
4 stars only because it's misleadingly labelled as 4x 3.0 ports, high bandwidth, etc. - Does exactly what it said it would - Sheldon, 4 April 2022
Using it for extra inputs for an oculus rift CV1.
as I have had issues with many brands of expansion cards.
This one works perfectly, No drivers, no fiddeling.
Just plug and play.
HIGHTLY suggested.
