- A must buy - Julio, 17 August 2020
I upgraded from my 980ti and use a 1440p 144hz monitor. I play all titles on ultra and get great FPS across the board (very easy 60, majority of the time 80's, with tweaks 95+). naturally some of the more demanding titles require some settings to be tweaked in order to get 100+ FPS. My card idles at 23 degrees but it is winter and i use a H500M so get really god airflow. thermals at load are in the high 60s to mid 70s depending on fan curve. I managed an OC of 2050mhz on the core clock and got an extra 800mhz on the memory (could go higher if i tried). card is factory OC but why not safely push it up slightly. dual fan works well and keeps things cool. other external reviews put the Palit cards (inc this one) high up on the list and i agree with it based on my card. price difference for the more name brand ones is crazy. card is not as long as the triple fan cards but it is thick. that 3rd PCI-e slot would be a push to use on a full ATX MB. you can change the RGB to work off temperature or be a color (there is rainbow and other static settings but the LED setup is basic so it doesnt animate very well) given that there are no LED on the top of the card or the back plate the RGB function become pointless unless mounting vertically. Remember that Palit is a very large company in the UK, just not big in the market here so getting this over a more recognized brand (in SA) is perfectly fine. assuming everyone honors the warranty properly. but this is an excellent card and i highly recommend getting from my experience.

Really well priced, excellent performance at 1080p. Now to upgrade to 1440.
And not as heavy as I had expected. I bought a support bracket and everything, but there has been zero sag.
If you're into RGB personalising and such this might not be the best though. It is pretty much green the whole time, and I've read online that the colour changes according to temperature or something like that - Reliable - Roderick , 14 September 2019
Palit is relatively big in Europe and this is my second card in 10 years from that manufacturer. This 2080 Super is a beast. I upgraded from an old AMD R9 380X and went from 1080p to 1440p. I have played everything on either Ultra or Extreme (as in the case of Rome Total War II) and this card does not skip a beat.
Yes, it is thick and takes up 3 PCI-E slots, however, I'm not losing out as I have a full ATX motherboard. I've paired this card with a Ryzen 3900X and a Gigabyte Aorus Pro X570 motherboard and am indeed very happy.
This card idles at 29-32 degrees and we are currently in spring. At load, I've hit 67-73 degrees, depending on room temp. I've got two intake fans and 3 exhaust fans - having more exhaust fans is important given that this card has two large fans that will dump hot air all over your case.
This card also comes with a nice built in LED but doesn't interfere with the case too much as it points downwards (the light is green - not sure if you can change the colour to be honest). At stock, my graphics maxes out at 2070MHz and RAM at 1937.7MHz.
The fans on this card maxes out at 1338RPM on my system and its not that audible when compared to my CPU and case fans.
