- Consistent and reliable construction quality. - Jarrod, 6 April 2018
- Out of the 14 of these I bought, they all worked good, and I inspected the solders on each of the units and found that there was consistency and no overlapping of solder.
- The USB cables are just over 60cm long, you shouldn't have issues reaching the length and width of your mining rig even if you have 12 GPUs stacked 1 row above the other, six in a row. My motherboard is in the middle, underneath everything and the cables reach everything fine.
- It is difficult to see in the photos, but each unit has a foam pad stuck underneath which is good for a few reasons, but mine started pealing off after a few weeks. I suspect the glue they used was not great, so you can just stick them back on with something better.
- The PCI-E slot itself seems good quality, plugging in each GPU felt the same, they all clipped in with the same feeling, and stiffness. You will have to manually secure the white retaining clip though, and it can be a bit iffy.
Overall, good quality. Haven't had any dead on arrival units and so far they are working fine.
