I would not buy this again. I bought the 3m option and the cable functions and carries signal just fine... but its way too thick and stiff to use on a desktop and it also has a lot of memory (it stays coiled like a telephone wire). So much coil and memory in fact that it wants to pull itself out of the connection ports or when you unplug it wants to spring back into shape with enough power to knock over an external hard drive.


Great as a weapon. Not so great as a computer cable.
