The headphones are nice for average use, but I don't think an audiophile would appreciate it. It seats comfortably over the head without putting pressure on the ears after extended use, which is very good if you plan to spend an entire evening gaming. The audio levels are mid-range, which is fine if you are not hard of hearing. Sometimes I find it lacking when the movie I try to watch is of low sound quality. For those who plan on using it on a laptop, take note that it is a split-cable design, and you will need a one-to-two converter for a laptop with a single audio port. It is advertised as having a 'bass/vibrate" gimmick that is supposed to help with immersion when experiencing explosions or deep bass audio within applications or games, but there is a constant buzz on the line when you should have complete silence during a scene. I keep the USB jack unplugged, as the buzz is beyond annoying, and unplugging the bass/vibrate eliminates the buzz. Also, the description mentions an in-line mute, which the headphones actually lack. The tough braided cable is a major plus though, as with all Redragon devices. If you are looking for something that fits a budget pocket, this will do you fine. If you are looking for a decent audio device, it is advised to shell out a bit more for a different model.
