Appears to be modeled after the modern XBox controllers, and works just as well. It doesn't feel like it was made with cheap plastic, but is rather very sturdy and reliable. Each button press, especially the shoulder buttons are silky-smooth, and after extended use, no dips in wireless connectivity have yet occurred. Great product for an equally great price!
