- Decent - Nicholas, 22 March 2022
I've had mine for a year now. Audio quality is fantastic and battery lasts a long time. Charging is also nice and quick. The only problems are that if you have 2 in the same room they sometimes swap pairing and the other issue is the seam on the earpads of both mine and my wife's have come apart so the sponge is coming out making them uncomfortable.
- Comfortable and Sounds Great - Riekert, 15 April 2021
This is a replacement for my HD569 wired headphones as I needed something wireless with a mic. I was skeptical of the sound quality of a wireless headset but this sounds excellent compared to my previously wired set. Obviously the quality won't ever be the same as a wired set but I doubt most people would instantly recognize the difference unless someone pointed it out.
Battery life is exceptional, I've only charged my headset once in the last 2 weeks and I use it all day for work and for gaming in my spare time.
I've never found the clarity of a microphone very important and although this one isn't rated the best it's still good works perfectly for my needs.
As for the issues of distortion and the headset not automatically reconnecting when starting your pc, mine did the same but the EPOS gaming suite has firmware updates for both the dongle and the headset which sorts out these problems. - Good sound, decent mic, iffy software - Nicholas, 29 March 2021
Solid headphones, decent mic. Get's VERY fiddly if you have multiple devices in one room. My headset keeps connecting to my wifes pc and via versa.
- Excellent - Murray, 31 January 2020
True Sennheiser quality. Light , comfortable , ridiculously long battery life , and most important - unequaled sound quality.
Only downer - James is correct - the dongle often has to be re-inserted after a reboot. - A wireless gaming headset with battery life like no other! - Dimitri, 31 January 2020
I have had tried many different wireless headsets in the last few years and honestly speaking, it has been a while since I have had this much joy wearing a headset for extended periods of time (100 hour battery life - what more can you ask for) listening to music, watching movies and playing games with amazing atmospheric sounds. This headset truly has the potential to be one of the best wireless options out there in its price range - All that needs to be done is for Sennheiser to keep their gaming suite up to date (weekly drivers / firmware updates) and add side tone.
Below my summary of the GSP 370.
PROS:
- Great battery life - 100 hours (Weeks without charging).
- Great Sennheiser sound quality
- Lightweight for a wireless headset
- Very comfortable easy to wear for hours. Perfect earcup mold.
- Easy to use controls.
- Infinity volume wheel and loose enough to not move the entire headset when trying to adjust volume like the GSP 600.
- Mute / Unmute Mic by simply flipping the mic up and down.
CONS
- Microphone is not “broadcast quality” but still works fine
- I wish it was USB-C and not micro USB
- Sennheiser gaming software is not the best (That being said will likely get better with more customer feedback)
- At the time of this review the side tone feature is not available.
- USB Dongle needs to be re-inserted every now and then after the PC has been turned off (Another fix that will likely happen via software)
- #worth - James, 30 January 2020
The Good
The GSP 370 somehow manages to have a ridiculously long battery life while still maintaining a super lightweight and comfortable design. Out of all the wireless headsets I've owned (and there have been A LOT) these are by far the most comfortable. On top of all of this, being Sennheisers, they have great audio clarity, exceptional audio positioning and a damn good mic for a wireless headset.
The Bad
Sennheiser has some ways to go when comes to the software side of things. Sometimes the headset doesn't reconnect after a reboot and I have to replug the receiver. Fortunately, though this is only a minor inconvenience and as it's software related, it's something that can be fixed without having to return anything.
The Verdict
Despite the software quirks, this is by far the best wireless headset I have owned and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a wireless headset and mic. - Sounds great but the software is awful - Michael F, 29 January 2020
I've had multiple issues trying to get the mic working and then the sound working. Then after all of that, every time I restart my PC I have to unplug and replug the dongle in. I've read some ideas of how to fix it by disabling windows fast boot but that seems undesirable. For the price I would not recommend these as you'd expect them to work without flaw and hassle.
