- Solid card - Matthew, 23 December 2021
So first off, the 6600XT gets a lot of bad press online. Honestly, for my needs (non 4k gaming), this card is more than amazing. Will you get a little better FPS off a more expensive card? Sure, but in the current market the rand/performance ratio is simply not worth it. Unless you're a professional gamer, you really won't notice the difference.
Best value for money right now, runs incredibly quiet and maxes out almost everything now. Perfect card for casual gamers. - Great 1080p 60fps card - Jacques, 3 December 2021
Perfect card for 1080p gaming in today's market and GPU availability.
- Best entry level card - Armand, 23 September 2021
This card looks beefy and thick compared too the other cards but for graphic designs and gaming its a perfect buy combine that with the B550M and upwards and Ryzen 5 CPU its very good.
- Great Card - Quintin, 3 September 2021
I'm happy with this card. Performs great. No problems at all.
I can finally game with great graphics.
No damage to package using Dawn Wing.
Thanks Wootware. - XFX RX 6600 XT - Johan, 1 September 2021
Great product and great service
The XFX RX 6600 XT does exactly what is says on the box
Brilliant 1080 gaming at max settings
Wootware is definitely recommended - Premium performance for a good price - Brendon, 27 August 2021
I'm writing this review 2 days into ownership of the card and I must say, it is absolutely amazing for what I use it for. Comparing this to the other offerings in this price category, it really is great value, despite the inflated prices we are currently experiencing.
I paired this with an intel 10600K and even though I'm capped at PCI express 3, I have had no issues in any game I've run into. It comfortably exceeds 100 - 200 fps in anything I've thrown at it with max graphical settings and temps never exceed 75 degrees, even in my somewhat budget minded pc case.
The card also looks amazing with a flat black color and a blocky look, which I prefer over the likes of the Gigabyte and MSI cards. The fans are dead quiet in the limited time I've used it.
I bought this card with the intention to run racing simulators at 144 fps and there is no one racing sim out there that runs below 100 fps even with a full grid of cars and a massive track.
Thanks Wootware for the amazing service you guys give. I'll be recommending you guys to everyone I know. - It's filling the gap - Kalvin, 23 August 2021
Like many right now,I too needed a graphics card. But the problem was I didn't have one to keep me going,I built my first pc this year. All with parts from wootware which came in at fairly priced and good conditions and fast delivery. So obviously they get a point for that. I however did not buy a GPU at the time of building because prices were either just over my budget for a decent GPU or the ones in my budget just didn't meet my gaming requirements.
That being said I bought this specific one because while the price is still not MSRP like most would expect,it was still a very reasonable price at the time being and it was in my budget, and meets my requirements for gaming.
I get a solid 1080p gaming experience and even so sometimes a really good 1440p experience I have a 4k monitor that's locked at 60hz so honestly as long as I am getting over 60fps I am happy and it's had no problem getting that. I have not tested the ray tracing on it and Im sure many have seen reviews of it so I'm not going into it.
My experience is this,I needed a GPU that gave me a decent and enjoyable gaming experience to my standards that wasn't waaaaay over priced and would tie me over for hopefully the next 2-3 years while I wait for next generation cards and better prices and this card is doing just that.
This has me give 5 stars because this is the best prices I have seen for a current generation card, that's fills the gap, provides a satisfactory gaming experience and was delivered in record time.
I'm half deaf so I really can't comment on fan noise because it sounds normal to me with no whine. Also had it for about 2 weeks and have had no issues.
