- Excellent - Dylan, 9 March 2022
I'm more than happy with the service that I received. With delivery with in the next, that is amazing!
The card performance is something that I'm not used to, all I can say is simply amazing! - Blazing Fast Graphics Card and Great Service from Wootware - Ashley, 1 March 2022
This card is very fast and very quiet. The performance difference between this and my previous card, an AMD RX580 8GB, is quite large. The 6700XT is about 2.2 - 2.5 times faster. Unfortunately GPU prices are much, much higher than they should be and at this price it is definitely overpriced. I don't blame Wootware, prices all over the world are insane but at least Wootware gives some hefty discounts. However, from a pure performance perspective this card is extremely powerful and easily capable of running all the games I play at over 100 fps. Delivery was fast and the details of the delivery company are provided in advance. In this case Dawn Wing did the delivery and their driver makes sure the correct recipient receives the card, which is a huge plus. I also e-mailed Wootware with specific instructions for delivery and these were carried out by Dawn Wing.
Two other people that left reviews, Anthony and De Wet, mentioned problems with the card when booting. I experienced the exact same problems. ThankfullyIt seems to be a known problem with certain Dell monitors. I have a Dell SE2717H monitor and am unable to access the BIOS with the HDMI cable. The BIOS doesn't visibly display, but an error appears stating the monitor needs to be set to 1920 x 1080, which is odd because this is the resolution I run it at. If I press the Delete button when this error message displays the computer does enter the BIOS. I can confirm this because I press Delete to enter the BIOS, F10 to save and exit, then press Enter to confirm, and the computer reboots. I bought two new good quality HDMI cables and the same error occurs, so the HDMI cable quality doesn't seem to be the problem. When using an old LG M2362A monitor with the original HDMI cable the BIOS can be viewed normally, the same occurs with my wife's Dell SE2419HR monitor. It seems Dell's SE2717H monitor is to blame. Dell users have posted this issue online on various sites, so I've lost faith in Dell.
Thank you to Wootware for the great service and the constant e-mail updates. I appreciate the discounts that are given on a range of items, including this card. A big thank you also to De Wet and Anthony for their reviews, it helped me immensely and now I don't have to blame the graphics card for the BIOS display issue. - Very happy - Mpho714, 10 February 2022
Don't just assume your case is big enough, actually look at your case specs and make sure the length of this card will fit. It was very difficult to install and I have a large case. However, the card runs very cool. Fans barely have to turn on most of the time as temps are 50-70C under most loads.
- Team Red - Derek, 24 December 2021
Been 8 years since i bought the amd powercolor r9290 and this is a worthy replacement though it basically is almost half the cost of my new pc. I cant even hear it. Im getting beautiful 1440p and it doesn't even break into a jog. It seems like old friends with the ryzen 5600 chip and it's beautiful looking machine. :)
- Not worth what I paid, but still good - Diaan, 17 November 2021
this card is for sure a good card, but its not worth anything near the price I paid, if you're reading this, either wait for a sale, or wait for the prices to go back to normal
- Big and quiet - Michael, 13 November 2021
So okay, it's not been a smooth experience, but this was mainly due to drivers from AMD being problematic, until very recent you couldn't play horizon zero dawn with this model of Radeon, had to load older 2020 drivers (yes they broke their working drivers) and only until very recently it was fixed... But other than software issues I got this at a great price, considering GPU shortage prices and I've been able to max settings on all games at 1440p and having a blast while being whisper quiet.
Physically the card is bigger than expected even knowing the dimensions, best to check this with your case specs, but this does actually fit in a cm nr200... barely, had to use slim fans for bottom intake (normal 25mm thick fans doesn't fit)
Would recommend this card, running great with recent 21.11.1 drivers and thanks wootware for the service and better than anywhere else prices. - Excellent - Anthony, 1 October 2021
My first XFX card but not my first Radeon. I have to get accustomed to the new driver software, but it seems rather intuitive.
I have had a similar issue to De Wet above, but I believe that this may relate to the sensitivity of my Dell SE2717H 75Hz monitor. This error does not appear on a Dell SE2416H, and it has been suggested that the fault may be a result of the quality of the HDMI cable used. In any event this error is visible for the couple of seconds it takes to boot Windows, so not too much of an issue (I don't regularly enter the BIOS).
The short time I have used it has indicated very good performance and it is very quiet. It scores around double what my previous GTX 1070 does in TimeSpy, so for less than double what I paid for the GeForce I have convinced myself that it is a bargain :p
The card is very long so this may be an issue in smaller cases as it fits my Corsair 500R with about 5mm to spare. It is also very heavy so needs to be properly secured. It comes with a lot of protective covering over the outer plastic, and has a high-quality appearance.
Very pleased with my purchase. - Really a wow Card! - Adrian, 22 September 2021
What a monster of a card, love the the larger than normal cassing and the card runs supper cool with the three fans and really silent. awesome perfomance.
Service is great, thank-you for the fast delivery and constant updates. - Awesome Product - Louisgroenewald1994@gmail.com, 10 September 2021
This is an awesome product , bit power hungry but we all know Radeon is power hungry but further more than satisfied with performance of the product and with the great quality it is or comes in
- From Frustrated to Incredibly Satisfied - De Wet, 19 August 2021
Ok. A journey was taken for this humble gamer upon booting my machine up the first time.
Let us start with the frustration you could possibly face and end with the absolute love I have for this beast of a card.
First off. I have a 75hz 1920 x 1080 screen that has built in free sync, the AMD free sync tech. My screen, on every boot displays an error that reads something like: The timing is off. Currently set to something else please change it to 1920 x 1080 (which is weird coz that is what I am running at). Every single boot I get this error for 4 seconds before my PC boots. I cannot go into BIOS with an HDMI to HDMI connection, I have to use an HDMI to VGA converter to get into my BIOS. You cannot use the preset "Gaming Mode" the AMD Adrenalin Software offers. It causes games to crash. It is either that or enabling XMP causing my games to crash. Since not picking Gaming Mode and just running the card on "Standard" I've not had further crashing. Also in the same breath I disabled XMP (probably a dumb way of troubleshooting, I know). And now I don't know which side is causing the issues.
Basically, the software of this card (The AMD software) is a bucket of trash. The software is AMAZING and super user friendly with all the stats, etc. Yet it causes system instability, so a big old bucket of trash.
The positive side (after 4 days of not being able to use my R 40k rig) I fixed the issue and, oh my, the performance is SO GOOD.
Rise of the tomb raider - 160 FPS, Apex Legends - 260 FPS, Withcer 3 - 90/100 FPS, AC Odyssey - 90/110 FPS.
Taking the above mentioned into consideration, the card hasn't even once reached 55 Degrees Celsius. It runs quiet, cool and provides to you 1080/1440p gaming like you haven't had it before.
R 13000, R 14 000 or R 15 000, I don't care, spend the money, it is worth it. It is worth every cent bleeding out of your bank account and if you don't experience crashes like me and it works out of the box you are going to be the happiest gamer alive. This card STOMPS the 2070 super, the 3060 TI and has more +4 GB to work with for basically the same price. It will last you longer than almost anything at this price range. - Fantastic - Shane, 15 August 2021
Excellent card! You won't have any performance issues and it will absolutely take anything you throw at it. I paired this with a Ryzen 7 5800X and running it on Linux PopOS - never experienced performance so seamless!
Definitely not worth the price, but really, what card is at the moment? I paid about 14k for this card, was suppose to get 1k discount (since I bought the Ryzen 7 5800X), but due to the CPU not being on the same order, Wootware refused to give discount - 2 weeks after I purchased the card, BOOM I saw the price drop to 13k anyway.
- XFX 6700xt review - Isaac, 10 August 2021
The first impression of the card is that it is very big. I chose it cause it had more Vram compared to the 3060Ti. The Vram of 12gb is great as I can run many applications while gaming compared to 8gb on 3060Ti.
The price is a little high, but I luckily snagged it before current price hike. But overall the performance has been great and it runs very cool. - Great bang for buck at this price - Leonard, 2 August 2021
This card looks and feels like a premium product, and is competitively priced.
The performance of the 6700 XT lies between the 3060Ti and 3070, and costs about the same as a 3060Ti.
The ray tracing and image upscaling (DLSS) technology offered by Nvidia is superior and better supported when compared to that offered by AMD at the moment.
However, the 8GB VRAM of the 3060Ti and 3070 could be an issue when playing some games in the future, while the 6700 XT has 12GB.
This card is a big upgrade over my RX480 and runs cool.
- Great Value for Money - Dirk, 30 July 2021
I am not a big gamer, and the current market is pretty bad. But this was a reaaly good buy and I am very happy with the results. It packs the punch I need for a decent upgrade to do my work and even play all my games at ultra settings. Well worth it.
- Amazing - Marcel, 23 June 2021
This is my first pc build going from a laptop to a build with this beast has changed my life and also boost my fps by more than 400. The service was great, it's just unfortunate that I ordered on a public holiday otherwise the shipping would have probably been even faster!
- Fantastic Card, worth every cent!!! - Matthew, 16 June 2021
This has been one of the nicest cards I have had the pleasure of using in 20 years.
It runs very cool, overclocks like a champ and hasn't stuttered once.
Bitcoin pricing aside (which everyone is dealing with) this card is a beast. - Excellent performer - Braam, 30 May 2021
I have been running this card for a month now. I bought it because prices are crazy now, and this was the "least expensive" and in stock.
I'm very glad I did! It is basically silent, and almost never breaks the 70c's. I is not worth money they are asking now... but what card is?
I'm very happy with the service I received, and this product performs way better than expected.
Game on.
