Crucial used to be a meh Patriot like brand that might just die randomly..... but their SSD's now are top notch.

Wootware delivered my SSD within 2 working days, awesome service!!!!!. I downloaded and installed the free Acronis Home 2015 software from the Crucial website as indicated inside the SSD packaging and cloned my existing 1TB SATA drive to the new 500GB SSD with the use of an Orico 2.5" tool-free external USB HDD enclosure, also ordered from Wootware. Took around 15 minutes for 300GB of data running the program in Windows 10.
I then replaced the HDD on the ASUS F541U laptop with the Crucial SSD and it booted up perfectly. Now when I switch on it takes only 5 seconds and I'm at the Windows login screen, INCREDIBLE!!!!
Tests with Passmark 9.0 shows that the claimed write and read speeds are very close to the advertised speeds: 520MB/s read speed, 480MB/s write speed.
