The Lenovo Flex 5 (in this case the Core i3, 8GB RAM version) is a well built and solid 2-in-1, that does exactly what is expected of it, while representing relatively good value for money.
In general, the performance is exactly what one would expect of a relatively thin and light laptop equipped with an 11th gen Core i3. Note that the RAM is not expandable on this machine, being soldered to the motherboard. The 512 GB SSD is more generously sized than is found in some competitors at this price point.
While the full HD touch screen is glossy and not very bright, it works perfectly well indoors and the included Wacom-type pen is great to use for electronic art (at least non-professionally) as well as interacting with software.
In typical Lenovo fashion, the keyboard works very well and is satisfying to use, this despite having quite shallow key travel. The touchpad works well enough, but is quite sensitive to touch and the surface seems slightly more "grippy" than usual, requiring a little getting used to.
It must be said that Wootware's service and response time was also fantastic.
