Bought this in April 2024, from a different seller, but thought I'd upload a review here as well, as reviews can be helpful for others. The Ideapad 3 is a great gaming laptop imo, in fact I'd say it's a King in the budget range. The graphics card is a newer generation and has ray tracing capabilities. RAM is good, but the storage is on the low side (500Gb), so I added 1Tb, now totaling 1.5Tb, which is needed with my Steam library.

Something to be aware of is that the GPU VRAM is (only) 6Gb. For some games, especially newer and AAA titles, high or medium settings apply. My most demanding games include Dragon Age Veilguard and Hogwarts Legacy but I can play these on High settings without any issues. I made a 'mistake' and bought a 1440p external monitor, instead of a 1080p, which adds additional strain to the graphics card. So playing on the bigger screen I have to lower the graphics settings to Medium for the games mentioned. I've easily plowed 600hrs into Eldenring on High settings with no issues on 1440p. Baldurs Gate 3 and Warhammer 3 can be played on High, but some tweaking in advanced settings to lower some graphics intensive details.

Now I've realized that I want a more high-end gaming rig so am building one in Woot's PC builder, 5070 Ti here I come!
