- Works just fine in my old laptop - Sean, 5 April 2024
Bought this brand as my previous SSD got corrupted. So far so good working as expected and speed up my old laptop. Hope it lasts longer than my last purchase.
- Mushkin 250Gb SSD + Enclosure - Peter, 5 December 2022
Both SSD and enclosure were great. Replaced the HDD in my laptop with the SSD using the enclosure in the clone process. Was simple and easy and laptop runs great wilt almost instant boot up - what a difference!!
- Great product - Jonathan, 4 April 2022
Used on an old laptop to make it a usable old laptop. Fits perfect, runs faster than a traditional HDD and has enough space to fit work documents.
- 250 GB SSD from Mushkin - Victor, 15 October 2021
Happy with this device - performs exactly as expected. Woot woot!
Excellent service, excellent products.
These days a SSD is the only way to go, and theirs was priced right. - Good price for performance - Johnny, 17 August 2021
I have bought 3 of these and they are faster than my cheap Sandisk SSD. Better build quality to boot. Aluminum casing VS a plastic casing on the Sandisk. Usual fast service from wootware. Cape Town to Durban in 2 workdays.
- Revived my old laptop. - Alexander, 2 August 2021
I have an old Dell Inspiron 3531; this definitely breathed new life into it. The speed at which the laptop transfers information and data is night and day. Instead of taking more than a minute; it boots in less than 10 seconds, applications are opening up and running smoother and faster than before.
If I ever need another SSD, I will definitely get another Mushkin. I would recommend this to anyone. - Decent budget build addon. - MJ, 30 January 2021
Its not a jack russel on steroids.
Its not that white furr ball on some old tannies lap that growls at everything but never moves and smells funny either.
On a fresh pc build I just did, it runs win 10 pro at acceptable speeds for an entry level budget gamer/office use build.
Cold Startup times are decent.
File transfers and installs were acceptable.
Pc specs can determine speeds etc on file transfers, instalations etc.
So for reff and perspective:
Cpu: Amd R5 1600 af (no oc)stock wraith cooler
Mobo:B450 Tomahawk Max(i like semi decent vrm's)
Ram: 2x8gb 3200gz Gskill Ripjaw (xmp only 3200mhz)
Gpu:Rx570 4gb (no oc)
Hd cold storage:seagate barra 2tb
Paired with the 250gb munshkin it adds to a well balanced setup and runs flawlessly.
After many 8 hour stress tests, just as a sidenote.
Its temps never went above 27c,at 25c ambient.
Located at the backside of the pc case in a Phantecs p400 case.
Some useless info i suspect but there it is non the less.
Have had zero issues with it.
And being 250gb is nice,a helluva lot better than 128gb and I have yet had that feeling of wishing I got the 500gb version.
So for entry lvl gaming & budget use.
Go for it.
Just don't upgrade to it.
