- Great Budget Gaming headset - Ronald, 18 March 2026
The earcups are a bit on the small side. I have average-sized ears and my ears just fit in the cups. The sound is great, good enough base and mids for an entry-level headset. The mic has a bit of a popping sound when using it for recording messages on WhatsApp, but in online chat in games it seems that the mic is clear. The build quality is great, and the headset is very light and comfortable long gaming sessions are no problem when wearing the headset. You get better sound clarity not using the 7.1 setting, and using it wirelessly has no lag. The wireless dongle is a bit on the large side, but you can connect via Bluetooth. The battery life is decent for the price. The only reason I give a 4-star rating is the earcup size and the popping of the mic when sending voice messages on WhatsApp. I do recommend this headset if you have small ears and are on a budget.
- Great for the price range - Marthinus, 16 January 2026
I've been using it almost constantly since it arrived and the only negative thing i can say it that it can be annoying to set up first time but overall after that's done its very good. I haven't had any issues with the mic in the slightest and the sound quality great. overall im extremely happy for the quality i got for the price
- Really impressed! - Emile, 3 June 2025
For under R 1000 I doubt you will find anything better with regards to an all-in-one gaming headset. Setup is super easy, the look and feel are great, and I also love that the earpads are not made from faux leather. My previous JBL headphones lasted super long, but the earpads kept breaking and cracking. Bought replacement pads 3 times, all of which lasted no more than 1 year. The build quality is also exceptional, and the earpads fit perfectly around my ears. I also don't notice any lacking in bass, but then again, I am not one looking for excessive booming.
- Loving it, price to performance is excellent - Herschel, 6 May 2025
For this price? Monster headsets in Warzone, very hard to find anything at this price point that would beat the quality of the mic and audio, especially in warzone. extremely loud as well, never turn your volume up to a 100 haha.
- Great value for money - S, 20 April 2025
This headset is a great budget wireless headset.
I like that the earpads are coated in fabric instead of faux leather that eventually peels off. The headband is coated in faux leather though. The sound through the earpiece quality is good, I don't use the 7.1 option too much. The headset itself is very comfortable and sturdy. It has an metal frame.
So far, there is no software for this headset. So you can't save any RGB settings, you have to manually cycle through the colours when you switch them on. The microphone is also very soft. I had to use Voicemeeter software and increase use the Audibility comp value to get it loud. - Too small for me - Pieter, 14 February 2025
great sounding headset but unfortunetaly they are too small. Even fully extended they dont completely fit over my ears, which sucks but other than that no complaints at all
- Excellent Purchase - Francois, 14 February 2025
If you're looking for high end audio at an affordable price, this is it. The headset is both wireless and wired. The charging cable doubles as a wired connection, so you don't even have to setup the dongle, just plug-and-play. Audio quality is very good for the price, very reminiscent of the old Cloud HyperX 2 headsets. Good quality feel, microphone quality is also very good.
The ear cup size I would say is medium-large. If you're 100% sure your ears are on the big side then this might be a little bit of a snug fit. The depth of the padding could use a little more depth, but you'll quickly get used to it.
Overall, best purchase for the price range. Massively improved from the other options that are just below the price.
