- Not compatible with so many devices - Brandon, 3 July 2025
Honestly not work the money, time and effort.
Ever since getting this router, the Macbook disconnects constantly. I fixed this by disabling Wifi6 and every other fancy feature the router comes with that you paying for. So that's a waste of money.
Our printer wont printer properly anymore. Busy troubleshooting that. Asus forums say to disable more features... what am I paying for then?
I've owned two Asus routers in my time and both have been absolute garbage. - Wifi issues and Packet loss - Adam, 23 July 2024
Really wanted to like this unit but we've had on going packet loss issues with it when using wifi. Tested the fibre modem but that seems to be fine, so all roads lead to this unit being the problem. Both Macbook pro laptops have had this issue with this unit and I'm constantly trying to enable and issable certain features trying to get to the bottom of this issue. ASUS blogs suggest that the WIFI.6 on it is buggy. I'm still tryin to get to the bottom of it 1 year later. About to give up and sell it.
The features and software on it are tremendous but all means nothing when it's unstable. ALso had many issues with the USB drive server. - ISP replacement router - Gareth, 17 January 2024
Really happy with my purchase and easy to setup.
My Wi-Fi is significantly faster and more stable in a security complex with multiple Wi-Fi networks being broadcast.
