the cooler is amazing temps are great, yet the mounting for it is horrible, took me a whole 30min just to mount it to the cpu after failing quite a few times and having to reapply thermal paste, if i didnt buy the other tube of thermal paste i would have been stranded cause the paste that comes with it is enough for 2 applications

Initially the fans ran full throttle. Enabled the settings in bios to manage the fans in a smart way.
Barely audible now, cant hear it if I am wearing a headset.

Bought this cooler a few months ago for another PC build. Got bored during loadshedding so I replaced my main PC Corsair H100i v2 with this ML240 Illusion.

This is a great little cooler! The pump and the fans are so much quieter. Not that I care about noise, but the difference is so vast, that I thought the cooler wasn't plugged in properly after starting up the machine! That quiet!

Got my temps down from 72 to 52 in some applications. I run an AM4 chipset.

The only "drawbacks" if at all, is that CM has their own proprietary connectors on the included RGB controller and some people might not like each fan and the pump having 2 connectors per item - 1x power and 1x RGB. So keeping the cables neat is an issue for some...

The RGB Controller has a magnet on one side, so you can plonk it on the back cover, or the PSU to camouflage...

If you're in the market for a decent little cooler, this thing does the job! And its cheaper than some DeepCool and Gamdias coolers.

What can I say, this is my first time using a water cooler and was a bit skittish, but after some time I managed to install it, and I am actually very happy with it.

Replaced an Antec Neptune 240mm with the ML240 Illusion on one of my PC's

CPU runs 5% cooler, but oh so very much quiter. Gone is the irritating whine from the Antec.
Visually this is the best looking cooler I have ever owned.
