ID-Cooling FrostFlow X 280 280mm Liquid CPU Cooler

If you're like me and not into RGB overkill setups this one is great. Works straight out of the box no real tweaking available but it's not necessary. Make sure your Motherboard has support for an Optional CPU fan PWM Connector and the Motherboard can take care of the rest. Pump performance also great compared to my older Corsair Water cooler (H100ipro)

Coil whine on the fans can be a bit much sometimes but subsides pretty quickly not really a big downside in my opinion can be easily fixed with other fans that are available on this site but it's not necessary.

I bought the AIO and was delivered 1-2 days after ordering. My cpu at 100% with a Cooler Master H410R was 55C-63C, with the ID-Cooling Frostlow X 280 my temps at 100% cpu usage is 45C-50C. Idle temps for Cooler Master H410R was 36C-42C, and now with the ID-Cooling Frostflow X 280 my idle temps is 30C-33C. I have a Ryzen 5 1600 AF clocked at 3.7GHz(auto clock) and use a Montech AIR 100 Lite that i got last year december at Wootware. With the AIO fan blowing air onto my gpu(Zotac RTX 3050 8GB Twin Edge OC), my gpu temps at 100% is 55C-70C(this was during summer which means worst case scenario). Since winter is coming, my temps will be far lower and more consistent and since I'm capping my fps using rivia statistic tuner(MSI Afterburner), my temps and power consumption is lower. That means all my computer parts last longer.

Really impressed by this cooler. I'm using this on a Ryzen 7 5700x3d. I can definitely recommend this AIO to anybody on a budget who wants good cooling performance coupled with no-nonsense RGB lighting. Great price for a AIO cooler. Fast, Friendly, Efficient Service received from Wootware.

Overall this is a good quality item Very affordable and meant for poeple on a budget and who dont like the RGB lighting

Decent radiator pipes could be longer though ended up mounting pump with pipes on Gpu side for least tension.The fans are rattly at full rpm had to drop speed.Pump and fans at 75% keeps my i5 12600k quite cool.Cinebench 20 it peaked at 64 degrees.

First of all it's not overly gimmicky with RGB lighting and such, just simple white lighting and it's going to fit very nicely for my plans to use mainly black with accented white and silver in my upgrade build. I hooked it up just to see how it would perform on the Ryzen 5 5600. Running Titanfall 2 and just monitoring the temps and usages it was averaging at 40°-42° at about 22-28% usage. Bear in mind I just installed it and didn't set any fan curves so this was just stock control straight off the bat, I'm sure if I tweak fan curves it could drop CPU temps even more, and I will be making use of better thermal paste (lk17 CPU paste) when I complete my build and swap out the motherboard. Overall I'm happy, it cleans up the build nicely looks at home in the system, has room for improvement and comes with all the brackets and screws you could need for setting it on the socket.

Really impressed by this cooler. I'm using this on a Ryzen 7 5800x. The temperature are as follows: Idle temp: 31° & under heavy load in cinebench it reaches a stable 80°. I managed to fit this into a micro atx case, was a bit of struggle, but finally got it in and it's running well. I'd recommend this cooler and for the price I'd say it's unbeatable. Quality of the materials are solid and feels premium too. Plus the delivery from Wootware to Pretoria was literally 24 hours. Thanks guys you are definitely light years ahead of the opposition we all love to hate.

Have now been using this cooler on 2 identical builds. We are still not in full summer but with normal operations cpu is at 26ͦC and full load nothing more than 51ͦC with I5 11600K.

I am very happy with this buy at this price.

The only thing more excellent than this product is the Fast, Friendly, Efficient Service i received from Wootware. I ordered on Tuesday and the device was received by Thursday. Truly remarkable !!!!

This was my first outing into the world of water cooling/AIOs. And I must say that this purchase was absolutely worth it.

My 5600x temps are down while under full load, my chassis looks way more appealing inside as my previous air cooler was a chonker and took up quite a load of space in the interior space.

I can definitely recommend this AIO to anybody on a budget who wants good cooling performance coupled with no-nonsense lighting i.e. just simple white lighting instead of pukey rainbow colours everywhere.

It's a low-key AIO with just a white LED on the pump. Which cuts the price without hurting the functionality. The build quality impresses me, especially so when considering the price.

I don't have much to fault this unit on, other than that the pump is audible. Not loud, just audible. Once my case fans are spinning it isn't noticeable.

The cooler has been performing outstandingly well. My CPU (i5-12600K) sits at about 2°C above room temperature during idle. I haven't been able to push it past 75°C (where with my air cooler I'd occasionally hit between 85°C and 89°C) during any games including; Escape from Tarkov, Cyberpunk 2077, F1 22, Destiny 2, Horizon Zero Dawn, CS:GO, CoD: MW II, etc.

You could use better 140mm fans on it if you want even more cooling, but I don't think it's necessary unless you have to have RGB. My RGB is all set to white anyway so the clean white backlit logo and ring give a clean aesthetic and I feel it would be too bright if the fans were white or RGB. This cooler is perfect if you're looking for a clean build like I am.

I'll keep it simple, you could say that this is a budget AIO. No rgb/argb, has a white LED around the pump itself perfect for stealthy, clean and simple builds. If you have good argb 140mm fans you can use them here. Easy to install and does its job really well. Comes with thermal paste and two black 140mm fans.

Overall this is a good quality item and I doubt you'll have much of an issue with anything.
