This drive works well in my budget rig. One thing I didn't factor in before purchase was the thickness of the heat sink. My M.2 slot sits just below my GPU. I had to remove my GPU to comfortably install the drive. After re-inserting the GPU there is about 4mm gap between the GPU heatsink and the drive heatsink.

The drive runs on PCIe Gen 3 x4 on my dated chipset. With Crystal Diskmark (test count:1, test size: 1 GB), SEQ1M Q8T1 Read: 3476 MBytes/s, Write: 3224 MBytes/s.
