- Great headset - Ruan, 18 September 2023
Pro's:
It's lightweight, but feels solid. Sounds great and mic recordings are much better than some other headsets I've tried. Convenient to install and easy to adjust its settings on Logitech G Hub. Would strongly recommend if your budget is anywhere from R3,000 to R4,000.
Cons:
Control button locations on the back left ear cup needs some getting used to - it's easy to accidentally adjust the volume or press the mute/unmute button when you remove the headset. Ear cups don't rotate and you can't adjust the position of the microphone piece like my old HyperX Cloud Flight, butI've gotten used to this. Not a deal breaker. - Lightweight headset with great sound - Keith, 17 August 2023
I do enjoy this headset a lot. I think the only issue with it is that the microphone is in a fixed position. It does bend but to get it out of the way completely you'll have to unplug it from the headset. Probably the only draw back for me.
- Sound is really good but low volume, but there is a fix - Steven, 8 August 2022
Really love the sound and bass of the headset and the Blue Voice option within Ghub really makes the mic audio sound good.
Low volume issue
Due to EU regulations. Headphones are capped at a certain volume.
You can uninstall GHub or alternatively use a 3rd Party Sound boosting tool like Letasoft's Sound Booster to resolve it. - Sound is amazing but... - Chelsea, 10 July 2021
When I first started the headset up, the sound quality was just not good. However, after I installed G Hub. I played around with the settings and enabled the surround sound feature, holy s*** it took me by surprise. The sound is amazing. It's especially immersive in games. There's really not much I can say about the mic but that you can also adjust the settings for it. For me, as long as it works for work zoom calls and chatting to friends, I'm glad.
The battery life without RGB on is also pretty good. It can last up to 3-4 days without RGB.
There is one thing I am still trying to wrap my head around and that is how incredibly soft certain things sounds. I just don't understand it completely yet. I watched a movie on Netflix with volume on the headset, system and Netflix on 100% and I could hardly hear the dialogue, it was a real struggle. I'm not sure if it's the settings I have to adjust because I do have hearing loss (but even on other headsets, dialogue isn't so soft) or if it was made that soft to prevent hearing loss. I still need to figure it out. I might do a second review once I figure out if there is, in fact, a setting I should adjust. If anyone else experiences the same issue or if it's just me, I'd like to know.
