- Supper Upgrade - Miles, 8 June 2025
Came from the RTX 3070 from struggling to run games with the limited RAM and came to this to hopefully not run into this issue for the foreseeable future.
And this card has been putting in the WORK. - Amazing card - GPU goes BRRRR - Jonathan, 19 September 2024
This is one of the best value for money to get the Palit brand for the 4080 super.
The card performs well.
It might be a bit louder then the other cards, but there is no issue with the performance it provides!
I upgraded from an MSI 1080ti.
And one thing to note:
After installing the Palit, only 1 monitor turned on.
This was fixed after I logged in, and updated the Nvidia driver.
The card is quite big, and is build well.
Check the dimensions of your case to make sure it will fit.
I also want to mention, the card does not have any lights at all (no log that lights up, or RGB or anything)
I am very happy with the card, and can recommend it. - Super happy, iRacing and ACC run like champs @ 3x 1440p - Pavel, 1 September 2024
I upgraded from a GTX 1080 to help with some stuttering in racing games; previously I couldn't get very good frame rates in 3x 1440p and only passable at 3x 1080p with relatively low settings in most games. I was a bit concerned that my i5 8600 would be a bottleneck - and it probably is! - but the RTX 4080 eliminated most of the issues I was having.
Assetto Corsa Competizione looks glorious in triple 1440p at "high" settings with a few tweaks; iRacing give me solid 120-140fps also at mostly "very high" settings, only dropping down to about 90fps at the start of races when there are many cars around. Overall very pleased with the purchase. - Great all purpose card - Theo, 13 May 2024
I upgraded to the 4080S to run LLMs locally and run UEVR modded games, and it delivers. The card runs cool and does not overdraw on power, useful for when the power is out and I'm on backup. Sure it doesn't have RGB, but still an amazing card for both work and play.
- 4080 super - Brett, 20 March 2024
so far works as expected, cant complain. I ran the incorrect benchmarks at first and could not figure out why the scores where so low then i realised my stupid and it was fixed.
- Nice - Ruan, 26 February 2024
Returned a 7900xtx bought on Takealot with hotspot issues for this, zero disappointment.
10 degrees difference between core and hotspot, with hotspot not exceeding 81 degrees after stress testing with a quiet custom fan curve.
Immediate performance boost in benchmarks compared to the 7900xtx which I had to throttle to keep temperatures in check, your mileage may of course vary.
Works straight out of the box like intended with zero fiddling, unlike my recent AMD GPU experience.
Not commenting on the value of the card overall, but if you’re here anyway and unsure of this card I highly recommend it.
No fancy RGB but looks and feels really solid and looks real good in my Phanteks G500A.
If you’re unsure between this and the 7900xtx - NVIDIA all day long at the same price (as it currently is) - less power draw, better ray tracing, better for creatives etc.
NVIDIA just got rid of GeforceExperience and the awful required login with the new NVIDIA app as an added bonus.
Paired with a 7800x3d this card is an absolute monster, thanks Wootware!
