The Gigabyte Radeon RX 9070 XT OC-16GB is well worth the price since NVIDIA GPUs are currently horribly overpriced. This card can easily equal the RTX 5080.
Note: since this card has x3, 8-pin (6+2pin) power connectors, you may have to consider a smaller Air-cooler or an AIO cooler if you want to vertical mount your GPU.

I am very happy with how it performs, upgraded from a 3060 ti where I had to turn down the settings for 1440p now I can just start a game and not care about looking at settings. It runs everything great :))

the 9070xt is a huge improvement from my 3060. it handles 4k high/ultra no problem.
RT does hurt performance slightly.
Power usage is a little high. 300-350w. it's to be expected but still stings a little compared to the non-xt version.

only regret is not waiting another week before pulling the trigger. price came down by R800.

Had to GPU for 2 weeks now and are just amazed with the raw performance. Really a good investment. Paired with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D this card makes top tier games enjoyable.

I must say, it you are not interested on any AI upscaling and just want pure performance this is the card for you. So easy to install drivers and get everything configured.

This GPU is amazing and runs like butter. For Chromium users, you've got to turn off hardware acceleration or use Firefox otherwise you get freezes for 10 seconds. Which I've now resolved by moving to Firefox.

I was torn as many before between choosing a 9070xt and 5070ti as my new gpu. I eventually decided to get this card given the cheaper price and basically 5-10% performance difference of the 5070ti. Upgrading from a 1070 and can safely say I have a solid card that will keep me going for the next 4+ yrs. Great service from wootware as well

I've been putting off buying a new card and this is the best price to performance purchase I feel like I could have made. Love this card, works WONDERFULLY, all in all just a AWESOME card.

Very happy with this card. Coming from Nvidia to AMD was a big step. Wow, the card performs so well. Getting 250fps with FSR 3 in Tarkov and 180fps without on 1440p. And the temps never go over 44C. Can recommend this to anyone thinking of getting a 5070ti. And the AMD Adrenalin utility is great to use. Thanks also to the Wootware team for your world class service. You are by far the industry standard and it boggles my mind to think people are buying elsewhere.

Performance is through the roof coming from an RX 6700 XT, however slightly too high Memory and Hot Spot temperatures for my liking constantly hovering around 90-95 degrees, which according to reviews tends to be a norm for these cards under load

This GPU was a no brainer after I did my research and damn it's good! I've never been more happy with a gpu regarding fps output at 1440p while staying around 51 degrees on full load and staying quiet if you set the fan profiles. RT is also waay better than previous cards and I can play everything full graphics with my ryzen 5 9600X. This card now is almost on par with a 5080 and better than a 5070ti while being way cheaper Thanks Wootware again for the great service!

Well impressed with this card's capabilities. Efficient, good temps under load around 80degs hotspot. Been fiddling with undervolting which further improves temps and power draw. Havent had any issues with it yet. Pushes frames really really well.

I upgraded to this GPU from a 1060. Besides needing to reinstall Windows so that I could change BIOS from Legacy to UEFI to be able to benefit the full performance, this GPU is is a great upgrade. I is handling all the games I play at full graphics.

I will not go into too much detail as the others that have reviewed this GPU have said pretty much everything. I will say that this is a step in the right direction for AMD Radeon. Coming from a RX 7900 XT this GPU is amazing even with less VRAM and less memory bandwidth.

I mainly wanted to bring attention to the wonderful experience provided by Wootware. I asked a lot of questions that were answered well. I went back and forth on my order with regards to which GPU I wanted and it was handled well. So I'd like to end this with a cheers to Tiaan for all the help.

This is a great card, I can finally run games at decent frame rates.
Something concerning though is the high memory temperatures , even with the case open

I had to decide between a Rtzx 5070 TzI. There is little difference between the two models that it was easy for me to choose. The difference was almost R3000. I am not sorry I bought the RX 9070 XT ad it fulfill my needs - gaming. Thank you Wootware, good product, good deal.

I specifically chose this Gigabyte model for it's 288mm length because it's the only one I could find available that I was confident about fitting in my case without having to move my front mounted radiator with fans installed on both sides (push-pull config) I have a Corsair 4000D Airflow case which is only a mid tower chassis and this card fits in comfortably.

The cooling of the card is totally adequate and keeps it below 80C. Hottest temps I got from it was only about 74C which is safely below the point of thermal throttling meaning the cooler is enough to keep it running at it's maximum performance all while the fans are quiet. ( I can't notice any difference in noise my PC is making before and after the upgrade)

Lastly I want to mention for anyone also on Linux, compatibility is great! Very straight forward and hassle free drivers compared to Nvidia cards. Works fine on both Wayland and X11.

I'm really impressed with this card as a whole, performs great in gaming and also handles renders in DaVinci Resolve pretty well too.

It's a very small card for this generation (especially compared to XFX) but I'm very pleased with how cool and quiet it is, I was definitely expecting it to run a little hot but so far it's been great. Also doesn't need an Anti-Sag bracket in my system which is a nice bonus and the RGB is very subtle.

I quite like the AMD Software and haven't encountered any issues with it on that side either so I'm really happy.

I am satisfied with my purchase. The design of the card is simple, and the backplate appears to be metal. Coming from an RTX 3070, transitioning to AMD's Adrenalin software was a notable change. I find that the software tends to automatically enable certain settings, requiring some adjustment to tailor them to personal preferences initially. The tuning feature is particularly useful, as the card, with an additional 20% unlocked voltage, can reach a substantial 360W. The coil whine is quite loud on this card; I'm uncertain if this is specific to this model or if all RX 9070 XT cards exhibit the same behaviour. My RTX 3070 also had coil whine, but not to this degree. After undervolting the card, I reduced its power consumption to 260W, resulting in quieter operations and maintaining excellent temperatures with minimal loss of FPS.
Additionally, if your CPU is older, you may encounter a CPU bottleneck, which I experienced in two games, one of which was Helldivers 2.

Really impressed with this card.
I don't see it go over 65 degrees and I can barely hear it over my case fans which is great.
The rgb with the sliding panel is a nice touch too.
I think gigabyte nailed it this time with acoustics, I previously had the same model in a RX 7900xt and that was a noisy unit.
Quite happy and the service was excellent.

In December i built a Ryzen 7 9700X build with the view to getting a 9070XT in Jan. fast forward the disappointment of the 6 March postponement I managed to get it at launch (1min later it was sold out) and it has truly blown me away. Granted I was upgrading from a GTX 1080 but my Ultrawide is LOVING the power. FSR4 is amazing, the FPS on top settings in all the games i've played are amazing. Avowed, Indiana Jones, Delta Force, Starfield etc running smooooooth. Hihgly recommended and as always, amazing service from Wootware. Shout out to Mubarak for sending me an 8pin PSU cable so i didnt have a dangling 8pin on the remaining 8pins from my PSU box.

My AMD RX 6800 XT stopped functioning in January 2025 and could not be repaired. I waited with much anticipation for the 9000 series cards to make an informed decision about the most suitable option. I had my eyes set on a 7900 GRE or RX 9070 but elected to opt for the RX 9070 XT due to how closely the cards were priced. This card presents a strong proposition in terms of value as it performs similarly to an RX 7900 XTX in many titles at a significantly lower price.

Massive upgrade from my old 5700xt. Managed to grab one on launch and it's been great since. Runs cool and quiet. Using it with a 3440x1440p 165hz monitor and get high frames on high quality settings in most games.
