Samsung MZ-V7S1T0BW 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe M.2 2280 PCI-Express 3.0 x4 Solid State Drive

The Samsung MZ-V7S1T0BW 970 EVO Plus 1TB NVMe M.2 2280 PCI-Express 3.0 x4 Solid State Drive was delivered a day earlier than it was previously indicated it would take, which was cool because the communication from the couriers was crisp and clear.

The drive was very easy to install, except for the fact that it was missing a screw to attach it inside the tower. Not sure why that was, but getting it connected, after acquiring a screw, was something anyone could do in a matters of seconds.

In terms of performance, it's super fast. Transferring a game of about 85Gb took less than minute. For gamers, especially, this is the way to go. It takes things to the next level. Having many large-sized games present no issues. This NWMe delivers consistent speedy performance, making for an enjoyable experience.

This Samsung product might cost a little more than similar products, but it comes with the peace of mind of knowing that is of high-quality. I would highly recommend it.

I couldn’t be happier with my decision to get a 1TB M.2 SSD for my system. The performance boost is incredible, and the price was very reasonable for the amount of storage and speed it offers.

The NMMe SSD was delivered promptly and in perfect condition, and works well. However, the price was higher than at Evetech. But I paid the extra because I believe your after sales servide will be better.

Decided to bit the bullet and upgrade, putting all my games on the 1TB M.2 and it's alone have the load/boot time of most games. I've notice huge jumps in load performance to AC Mirage, GTA 5 and Far Cry 6

You will NOT be disappointed with this purchase. I've always buggered around with 250 - 500gb SSD's, and the honeymoon phase is always great, but the SSD gets filled up so quickly. So I decided to grab one of these, and get it over with. I thought there couldn't be too much marginal difference between this and a normal SSD. Boy was I wrong! 100% worth the money.

Decided it was time to upgrade the storage in my laptop, I've been playing some games in almost 40° heat and even though the drive gets a bit toasty until I put my coolong pad on its performance is immaculate. Would absolutely recommend this buy, great product overall, great price, and wootware always delivers top class service too! Order arrived 3 days earlier than anticipated.

As always Wootware does a great job in getting the product delivered as quickly as possible. As for the NVME drive itself - super easy to install and very fast.

I don't even have to say anything it speaks for it self, only thing is if you want that even faster life go for the PCI 4.0.

Great product, super fast and has made waiting/loading times nearly non-existent. Upgraded from a normal HDD in the hopes that Starfield would run smoother, and I couldn't be happier.

From my experience if the SSD does not have a heatsink on, the temperatures can climb quickly under load. Remember the SSD has internal throttling to protect itself. My MSI MEG Z790 has built in 'Froz'r heatshield and I can see the difference compared to my machine (Z270) that does not have it! The Z270 pc climbs above 50C++ quickly. The Z790 plateaus at 41C. Room temperature is 19C.

Did my research around this drive, so far so good. I'm sure the real value will come over time in terms of reliability.

I ordered this exclusively for use in gaming and have to say the speed is amazing,I keep all my games that are notorious for being large on it, and they run smooth like butter. I'm definitely glad I bought this,a worthy investment!

Was very impressed with speeds and quality. Have a older system so have to use a pcie to nvme adapter, but worked perfectly and able to boot from it. Great product!

The device is pretty neat, my only worry is the limited writes of the device. I project that, with my personal usage, to get about 3-4 years out of it, but I do consider myself a power user.

I would recommend a power user to get the high capacity drives(1tb+) and overprovision a portion of it for longevity, and normal or light users wouldn't need any more than 500gb and keeping the OS and essential apps on it.

This is merely my take on the drive.

This drive gets extra spicy without a heatsink. (Mine does at least) Some basic testing pushed this drive to where I now have to consider buying something extra just to cool it. I am unable to in good conscience use this drive knowing it will hit temps where it will start to thermal throttle. Pretty disappointing. Also, Samsung have apparently swapped out the controller on the never versions of this drive. The controller being the thing that's hitting temps hotter than the sun. The actual storage stays within reasonable temps.

Set up as a C:\ boot drive. From the power button to Win 10 Login screen 5 seconds. Just leaves me gob smacked!! Office Visio 2019 launch in under one (1) second. MS Excel 365 in 2-3 seconds. Visual Studio 2019, 2 seconds.

The SSD reached me quickly, the day after I ordered it. Installation was very simple and it was up and running in a few minutes. It is extremely fast. I've never seen anything remotely like it before. Thank you very much to Wootware for excellent service and a first class product.
