After spending countless days Youtubing about the 970 Evo Plus 500GB, googling about the temperatures and all I've come to the conclusion that this drive is AMAZING!! I truly do mean it. You will notice the difference, your system will be snappy even if you're transitioning from a good SSD. Don't doubt it just buy it!! I'm getting 3.6GB/s reads and 3.2GB/s writes so above what they spec'd for reads.

I'v always stick to Samsung when it comes to SSD's and this 970 evo plus is no exception. Great performance for PCIe Gen 3, without breaking the bank like its more expensive pro-variants and Samsung 980 cousins. Honestly in day to day and gaming related tasks, I doubt anyone would be able to tell the difference between this and the PCIe gen 4 drivers. Overkill for my gaming rig, but I love it

Samsung NVMes never dissapointed. It works as intended and the temperatures are normal, no overheating so far even without the heat shield. Just note, this particular model only supports PCIe gen 3.0 and not 4.0.

A Fast SSD with Samsung quality, can't comply about much, Samsung even provides cloning software for the it making the data transfer process even easier.
