Seagate ST3000DM007 Barracuda 3TB 5400RPM SATA 6Gb/s 256MB Cache 3.5" Internal Hard Drive

After many years this drives great,great,great granpa died, he's now in the NAS resilvering and continue his job as a good little ZFS disk. Amazing how much smaller the drives are physically these days as the density of disks goes up.

I wouldn't use this for media editing, gaming, or loading an operating systems but its great as a desktop archive. Out of the box, it performs as expected.

The hard drive is usually 2.72 TB. It works well and no complaints so far. Just make sure you allocate the memory when you install it for the first time or else it will not show on your computer. If you do not know how to allocate memory, there are many YouTube videos that can help you. Otherwise, thanks to Wootware for fast delivery.

Very responsive, solid secondary drive for games and other media. My older, smaller 500GB barracuda drive is still going strong after almost a decade of use and abuse, so I expect this big boy to last a good while.

Windows picked it up immediately and transfer speeds are quite good. Definitely DO NOT use this as your main OS drive though. Get an SSD. Even just a small one then this for lots of data. I recommend the Sabrent Rocket SSDs.

Fast, Easy, Breasy and a little bit of Sqeasy (fits in any HDD Slot on your Chass). Good HDD, Stores all of my stuff. Looks exactly as advertised. Installation is breasy easy peasy.
