- Comfortable and reliable - Chris, 15 May 2025
Fit seems tight at first but they're not head-squeezers. Light build and so far haven't become fatigued wearing them. Frequency response feels even across the spectrum. I have confidence in making mixing decisions with these headphones.

- I've never left a review on a product before but this one made me do it! - Shalin, 24 April 2025
TLDR: If you are looking to get into being an audiophile and don't know yet? These are a great starting point. Maybe you just need a gaming headset and not worried about a mic, the imaging is way better than dedicated gaming headphones. AMP/DAC is DEFINITELY and HIGHLY recommended to get the most of them.
After owning the G633's for about 6 years and then a g pro x for 4 years, this headset is my first departure from 'gaming' headphones and it was the best call.
Watching tons of reviews prepared me for the loss in that fun boom bass factor from the other 2, however I was not prepared for how flat they actually are.
Thankfully I obeyed my gut after reading the comment suggesting to use an amp. I got the K5 Pro's to pair with these and man...motherboard outs will never do this set justice.
I tried them without an amp/dac before that arrived and used equalizer APO with peace GUI and honestly they were just okay (Comparing that wow fun factor from the logitech headsets), very clear and flat. Moving them to the K5 was a day and night difference. After a bit of tweaking for my taste and it was another level completely. Definitely agree that yes you probs wont get that full wow bass experience compared to a gaming headset BUT you will quickly fall in love with the quality over quantity. Really. That quality of bass is amazing, a lot tighter and clearer without sacrificing brightness.
Recently suspected I was an audiophile before this headset, now I know I am XD! Staging, imaging...everything is...<3. As a beginner, in my opinion, these paired with the K5 are a great entry point without breaking the bank.
Also believed Spotify quality was good but after using these...nah - DO NOT use Spotify with them for analytic listening...you will think the headset is terrible but really Spotify doesn't come remotely close...24Bit FLAC on Tidal will solve this. Soundiiz made the switch smoooooth asf!
- Amazing - Francois, 24 April 2025
The open back design makes the sound unusually neutral compared to other headphones, and gives an illusion of hearing the sound in a room as opposed to right up your ear, fit for gaming I'd say. Another thing is that outside sound can be heard through these headphones, so you can easily converse with someone coming into your room/office, this is only bad if you live in a noisy environment, oh, did I mention that the sound is ridiculously high quality?
Another positive is that these headphones are no bullsh*t, you plug it in, and it works, no dumb manufacturer software or drivers needed, just need the hardware to drive these things.
- Great headphones for the price - E, 19 March 2025
Sound quality is amazing. Very detailed headphones with tight bass. Pricing is great, better than any other headphones of the same quality. Brilliant for both gaming and everyday use.
- Excellent Audio Quality - Phiphe, 31 January 2025
I use these for gaming and music production, the sound quality is awesome. The reason for 4 and not 5 stars is that the cable is 1.8m despite being advertised as 3m, this is inconvenient as It cannot reach to the far side of my desk.
- Smooth, Clear & Clean - Mity, 11 January 2025
Best headphones I have used.
Upgraded from my 8yr old Audio-Technica M50x and was immediately blown away at the switch over difference on first listen.
Great fit, build quality and comfort.
Music and gameplay sound is a lot more smoother, clearer & cleaner.
- Sennheiser HD 560s - Corne, 9 September 2024
Great Headphone! upgraded from sennheiser GSP 500 openbacks to these.
They lack in the bass compared to the gsp500 but i managed to sort that with a little EQ. EqualizerAPO and tuned to a Harman signature.
They are very comfortable, i watched a few reviews where people mentioend the clamping force is a bit much but i didnt find these too tight.
Definitely recommend getting a dac/amp if youre getting these because they dont get loud with motherboard audio. (Igot the fosi k5 pro, cheap but effective)
The sound stage and imaging are amazing with these, clarity is great.
- Beautiful Audio - Connor, 12 April 2024
For gaming and music, this thing is absolutely amazing! The fact that I can actually tell where events are happening is just something to behold. It honestly feels like the the headphones are floating and not sitting straight on my ears. I 100% recommend these headphones :)
- Incredible Sennies! - Julian, 26 January 2024
I bought these to replace my old Sennheiser PC350 headset because the microphone could no longer be repaired by Sennheiser as they no longer make the replacement cable for it.
Before choosing these headphones I had also tried the HD 660S2 a week prior but ultimately decided on these because I preferred its more neutral sound profile over the warm profile of the 660S2. A warm profile is great for music, but didn't sound that great for everything else. These on the other hand are very balanced and sound great for all round use and when paired with a ModMic makes a damn near perfect gaming headset.
My only complaint is that the cable is a bit too short my liking and it doesn't have an inline volume control, but at least it is detachable and can be easily replaced which a huge plus for these headphones. - Sennheiser HD 560S - Dean, 6 November 2023
Amazing sound quality, I've always used lower quality headphones for gaming.
In games where sound queues are important, these feel like cheating.
Also very comfortable to wear, I wear glasses and due to the earcups being so soft I've never had discomfort. Seeing as how I tend to have gaming sessions for hours at a time, the comfort means alot to me. - Best gaming headset with Dolby Atmos - Abdullah, 8 September 2023
When you combine the Dolby Atmos software with this headset, you get the most spacious & realistic sound for first person shooters! even if you have music playing softly in the background, you can still tell exactly where your enemies are coming from before you see them. Have had an immersive Apex experience since this headset!
- Sounds great but comfort is an issue. - Barend, 7 August 2023
I am not an audiophile but I can say these for sure sound better than my Samson SR850, the sound is overall cleaner and clearer and to me they don't sound as ear-piercing in the highs. The one issue I do have with this headset does not lay with the sound though, it lies with the comfort, even though the headset is incredibly light it has a high clamping force, combined with the earpads that are stiff and not all that plush the headphones can start to really hurt your ears and your jaw after a few hours of use. I am currently trying to reduce the clamping force by stretching the headset over the box but since the headset is built out of plastic I am not expecting much, I might just buy some better earpads in the future. Also, the cable has been upgraded from the youtube videos I have seen, it's quite nice.
- Love them - Frederik, 28 July 2022
I personally do not have any "audiophile grade" headphones to compare these to, however they do sound amazing.
They don’t boost the bass like on other headphones so you may feel it’s somewhat lacking.
Personally, I do not enjoy the "MAX OUT THE BASS" orientated headphones. The mids and highs seem to be relatively flat - in a good way.
My MSI x470 gaming plus (non max) motherboard has no issues driving them and anything for me over 50% volume is feels too loud, even my phone can drive them - although at a higher volume. They work well with a proper Amp too, as to be expected.
I have not noticed any distortion at higher volumes, but I’m not an expert here so may not notice it.
Performing the "frequency sweep" test (not using the compressed YouTube rubbish) The headphones work as advertised, bass is audible for me at around 20Hz and up to my limit of ~17Khz.
The body is made entirely of plastic (aside from the open back grill), the plastic feels ok, not the milk carton type of plastic. The head piece is adjustable as with any headphones, the ear cushions are a velvety material, comfortable but a lint magnet.
The one major downside for me is fit me rather tightly – squish your head, but I’m not deducting a star as I do not get hot using them and can actually wear them for hours at a time where I normally can’t.
In conclusion, the "sound" may not be to everyone’s liking, if you prefer boosted bass type of headphones then you likely wont want these, bass isnt lacking in my opinion though.
- Great entry to audiophile headphones - Divan, 24 January 2022
Very clear and flat throughout the entire frequency range. People will often say that the bass is lacking in these headphones. What they mean is quantity, but the quality is top-notch.
- Ridiculously Good - Bernard, 14 October 2021
A neutral signature, incredible detail, amazing wide and clear separation of instruments and voices, nothing bothering, comfortable, less sub-bass, some recommend an amp for the bass but it's amazing without one too.
Fantastic for the price.
5/5 for my taste but if you prefer a sound signature with more bass, try others too. - Crazy good intro in high fidelity - Garreth, 20 September 2021
I am not a word smith, so will keep this basic. These punch way above their price point! I love them for music, but paired with a little FiiO e10k, these trump my old GSP 600s in every way when it comes to competitive gaming.
- Amazing Heaphones - Etienne, 18 September 2021
It has a great balance of bass, mids and treble. Comfort and build quality is great. Definitely better getting this and a mic than a gaming headset. 10/10
