I wanted an upgrade to my Dell S2716DG.

I didn't want an OLED as I also work on my pc and don't want burn-in. I also wanted a bigger screen.

I also switch between inputs a lot between my work laptop and gaming pc. The OSD is amazing on this monitor. You can assign shortcuts. It has basically anything you could need in a monitor in terms of functionality.

Response times: A lot of monitors these days are advertising with MPRT response times. As soon as you see that, you know it's going to be bad. I tested one of those and it was a blurry mess. This is at least using the good old g2g times.

I also compared response times to my old monitor, which was VERY good in that area. I never played on another monitor that came close. I switched back and forth between this and the old one many times in a day to compare. After all that, I'd say it's largely the same (which is good). I did notice blur very slightly more in this screen, but I believe that is due to it being that much bigger than a 27" so any movement is more noticeable. And I was being very nit-picky.

I used to bring my screen to my face when playing CS. Now I don't have to be as close haha. I also use G-Sync. While this monitor does not have the seal of approval from Nvidia in terms of G-Sync, I've got it enabled and it does seem to work fine. Only thing I noticed is that on the desktop at 144hz it is just as smooth when moving windows as my old monitor but if you go to 180hz, it can get a little choppy when dragging windows, minimally. I don't see that as a deal breaker though since inside games, it's perfect. I can keep G-Sync and V-sync enabled and now have lower latency.

Overall it's very decent and I'm happy. Also awesome for immersion.
