- Solid NVMe Enclosure from ASUS - Veezed, 26 February 2023
The first impression is that the enclosure feels heavy - and it is heavy - all metal. So far only hooked it up to a Laptop on a USB3.2 Gen2 and with a disk capable of transferring up to 2700MB/s managed to get near to claimed 10Gbps transfer rate at 1053.8MB/s. Never felt warm to the touch doing a couple of file transfers and running Ubuntu desktop on it loading on a fairly smallish 75GB partition. It is sealed with an o-ring as you install and close up with 4 x 1.5mm hex screws. Inside some thermal padding is already installed in the lid portion and a good quality short C-C cable is included. Real solid feeling and it looks like it should handle a drop and survive. Happy with this purchase and the excellent service as always from the team at Wootware.
