Asus VG249Q TUF Gaming 23.8" Full HD (1920x1080) 144Hz 1ms IPS FreeSync Gaming Desktop Monitor

I made the jump from 60hz to 144hz and I can honestly say it's so much better. This monitor is solid, I got no dead pixels or anything weird like that with mine. It works with G-sync perfectly. The only thing I'd recommend is make sure that you have a display port cable on hand because this monitor does not come with a display port cable. So if you want to make use of the G-sync compatibility you'll need to grab one of those. Otherwise the display is vibrant and bright, it has a sturdy base and overall I'm very happy with the purchase.

Excellent monitor for the price and fantastic service from Wootware, as always. Colours and viewing angles great. Black level and panel uniformity are just ok, but way better than anything else at this price point with 144hz. Gsync works well with fps 144 and below(display port cable). ELMB dimming is less if contrast and brightness calibrated first on racing mode.

Coming from using a 60Hz LCD display for many years, the jump to 144Hz IPS was like day and night. Amazing support/advice from Ockert when it came to deciding which 144Hz monitor to go with my custom build.

- great colours (IPS panel is really magical)
- great response rate (144Hz and no ghosting in-game)
- G-Sync compatible on Windows 10 (should work perfectly with any Nvidia card from the 10 series up)

Using primarily for gaming, aim placement in CS:GO has gotten much better with the ability to react sooner.

10/10 completely worth the upgrade if you are considering switch from 60Hz like I did

Its a really great monitor for the price. My only issue is that the power cable doesn't come with an adapter and I had to go and buy one myself.

Beautiful image quality, buttery smooth high framerates, and an affordable price to boot. Was definitely worth the wait to upgrade.
