- Amazing 3D Printer! - Bergvliet High School, 25 June 2025
Our school recently bought this device to help us get back into 3D printing. Compared to the much older Flashforge unit we have, this unit is miles ahead. Unboxing was a bit of a pain due to the large size and I suggest anyone else slit the bottom of the box and then lift the whole box off rather than slit the top and pull the printer out. Unboxing aside, the setup process is pretty quick and easy and there's really no assembly required.
Once the unit was up and running after the OOBE, I applied some of the included glue stick to the bed and got to printing. Right out the gate, the printer produced solid, working prints that the Flashforge struggled with. After printing some of the various trinkets, I started printing gear models for one our technology teachers and the printer has impressed us to no end with what it can do.
In short, this device is amazing and I cannot even begin to express how amazing it is. Well worth it!
