I have been waiting to buy this headphone for quite a few months, i am very happy that Wootware was able to get some in stock.

I have owned a few closed back headsets in my day but let me say this, none of them come close to the FT1 sound or comfort wise, it was such a pleasant surprise the first time i put these on and found out they were more comfortable than my old CoolerMaster MH751 which i have been trying to replace for years.
When it comes to sound these don't fall behind my HD560s either, they sound different sure but these sound so clear and the bass is nice, if you have a DAC that can boost the bass even more you can get these cans to massage your dome.

The only downside to this pair is the cables that come included, day one i had to order a different balanced cable as the one that comes with this pair is 4.4mm (seriously shame on me for not checking, which is why i am including this in case you forget to check) and the Microphonics that come with both cables are terrible, the cables are also short, coming in at 1.5m and they are not very flexible.

upgraded from a razer blackshark v2 wired, Love those headphones but wanted to try something new and I must say I'm blown away these headphones work so well with the Fiio K1 R2R DAC and AMP. Buy both together you wont regret it.

This is the first headset I've bought since 2009 to replace my Razer Megalodon. I think this is currently a great deal (got it on a discount here).
Pros:
Good sound profile. (from reviewers, I am not musically inclined at all, but they sound nice)
Fit and comfort is nice.
Quality construction.
Comes with a case and 2x cables.

Cons (might be nitpicking):
It feels a bit heavy at 340g.
They could finish the cut ends of the metal better. Mine had sharp burs on the end that cut my hands. I used a small file just to remove the burs.
The included cables are nice, however the plastic piece at the Y connection in the cable could've been 'rounded' at the 'top'. Go look at the pictures on the product home page. But because the 'top' is flat, it gets caught up sometimes.

If it was not for the last two items I would've given it a 5 star rating.

Let's just sum it up by saying these are built exceptionally well for the price and are extremely comfortable on the head. The pads are very soft.

The best part is the sound. They beat every over ear I have heard and even some of my in ears like my 14.5mm planars from Tangzu. The over years I have tried include flagships from B&O, M&D, Bose and Sony so all of the top shelf consumer grade headphones. The FT1's beat them handily. Most of the consumer grade products are either muddy or have no bass at all. The FT1's contain high quality 60mm composite drivers that cause them to have both powerful bass and clear mids. Treble is also very sparkly. The FT1's are also more resolving than any of the consumer grade products.

These are worth a blind buy in all honesty as they are supurb. Giving them extra power from a good source will also help them sound even better.
