- Different but still great - Andre, 21 July 2025
I would highly suggest watching and reading some reviews on this headphone before you buy it. Firstly, Woot has a VERY good price for this headphone, I just couldn't help but take a chance. Having said that I really enjoy it. I combo it with the Fiio K7 (also bought from Woot) connected to my PC.
The sound is very laid back, especially the mids. This is not a bright headphone by any means. I have a pair of Epos H6PRO for gaming and Disc chat but it is a bit bloated in the mids and bass. I also have pair of LCD-2Cs which had tighter bass and is a bit more clear/crisp vs the Fiio but is is quite chunky for all day use.
The cable provided is great and it has every connector in the box with it that you can imagine. A standard 3.5mm headphone jack, can be swapped with a 4.4mm balanced plug (interchangeable with the 3.5mm), a 6.35mm plug that works with the 3.5mm one as an adapter and a XLR-4 adapter that works with the 4.4mm balanced. It also comes with a very good quality case. And finally you get 2 sets of pads, a pair of faux leather and faux suede. This set is easily worth twice what Woot asks for it.
I think this is a great middle ground between for the 2 pairs I mentioned. I can wear the Fiio all day. It's very comfortable, especially with the self adjusting headband, its not the most plush band but very good none the less. It's good gaming, great for music, provides solid detail and great bass, not boomy at all. Definitely give it a go, especially for the price. And goes without saying, Woot's service was on point, it was ready earlier than estimated as well.
